Matthew 15: 21- 28 The Canaanite Woman

A Gentile woman who lives up near Tyre has a severely demon possessed girl. Jesus is now in her territory. Verse 25 She worships Him and makes her petition know...Lord help me! She recognizes he is the Messiah son of David! She has great faith and trust in Him! She is determined to have her request granted because she knows that He is the only one that can help her! She is content to have even the "scraps off the table" .
Jesus came as the Messiah of Israel (Ez 34 The Shepherd) but here we see He extends His mercy to all who would
Worship, ask, and put their faith in Him

5+2 Matthew 14

Commonly know as The Feeding 5000, but more than 5000! Add women and kids....
The disciples are asked to do an impossible task in the natural ( Matt 14:15-16)
They have what they perceive as limited resources - how can you feed 5000+ with 5 loaves and 2 sardine size fish?
Answer: Verse 18 Give it all to Jesus!
A major miracle happens , it is even recorded in all 4 Gospels!
What about us?
We take 5+2 give all to Jesus
He blesses it gives it back to us then with that the multitudes are fed!
The Little we have and are by His grace ....by giving it all to Him - He gives it back to us to bring the True bread and meat to others! The Word of God Himself!
Be encouraged and give it all to Him Trust him and walk in His blessings
So you too can bless others to know and follow Christ!

Christ is tempted part 1

Just got my blog app! More of Matt 4 to come! Our Lord had the tempter come to Him to entice Him to sin!
Christ our perfect example used the sword of the Spirit to defeat Satan!
The Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God!

Matthew 4 Is a passage that describes Jesus led by the Spirit, praying and fasting in the wilderness!
If He did such how much more we of little faith need to call on our heavenly Father for everything we need to live the Christian life! Take the time to PRAY! Prayer is simly put "talking to God" - the most intimate communication with the Lord - Jesus calls us friend - He is the friend that sticks closer than a brother! Friendship requires relationship - abiding in Him and His Word! Fasting - is to draw us closer to him- there is no magic in fasting - but there is focus in fasting - the pangs remind us what we are praying about and to Whom.
We can fast - something to deny our flesh - and boy I know how strong the flesh is! So..  the fast is a meal - an activity - anything we normaly do - when the flesh want - desires it.... we immediately focus back on God and His Words in scripture!
We can call upon Him and expect great and mighty things as we abide in Him and His will ! ....Prayer: Lord Jesus today we focus on you and your words in the Bible : If you abide in Me and My words abide in you , you will ask what you desire and it shall be done for you! Lord Reach Ireland!!!!! Reach Jacksonville Lord Reach our families and friends our communities! Reach Mexico! Reach Kenya! And Lord here we are use us according to your will ...in Jesus name AMEN!
